Power bills climb fastest in a home that runs the air conditioner through a humid summer and the pool pump all year. Clean Earth Solar handles solar installation in the Central Coast, from Umina Beach and Woy Woy to Wyong and Budgewoi, with panels, batteries, EV chargers and maintenance from one team.
With more than 7 years of experience in solar panel installations, battery systems and energy-efficient solutions, we design each system around your past bills and a roof assessment. From consultation to post-installation support, we guide you through every step.

We design and install solar panels on the Central Coast to suit your usage and your roof, using high-efficiency Trina and AIKO panels. On roofs with several faces or afternoon shade, Enphase microinverters let each panel produce independently of the others.

A battery stores the surplus your panels make during the day for the evening or a blackout, with Tesla Powerwall 3, Sungrow and Sigenergy options. We plan solar batteries on the Central Coast around backup needs and salt exposure, including whether your current inverter can stay.

We install Level 2 and smart EV chargers at home, so you can charge overnight or set the charger to run on surplus solar. Before quoting, we check whether your switchboard and supply can carry the extra load.

We clean panels, run fault checks and carry out solar panel repairs on the Central Coast, including on systems other companies installed. Salt film builds up faster on beachside roofs, so coastal systems are worth inspecting more often.

We provide complete commercial solar on the Central Coast, including rooftop panels, battery storage and EV chargers for businesses. We size each system around your trading hours, because daytime operation uses most of the solar as it is produced.
Every system we install here is designed and installed by our own SAA-accredited electricians and electrical apprentices, with no subcontractors, roofers or labourers on site. The person who assesses your home is a trained installer, never a salesperson.

CES just 'upgraded' my solar to 10kwh, added a 10kwh battery, AND a smart EV charger. My main aim was to charge my EV off the roof, rather than cut my power bill..... which will happen anyway. CES 'got that' (others did NOT) and came in with an appropriate and competitive quote, and were able to start quite quickly. The large install was done efficiently and professionally in just one day, and so far it's been working like a charm. Overall I'd give CES 4.5 stars. 4.5 because there is ONE small but important thing they could maybe focus on more. CES's focus was in getting the install done in one day - a BIG task! As a result the final setup of the app's the end-user will use to drive the system ended up being a bit rushed. The client gets a LOT of value from understanding HOW the apps work, how to tailor them, what tweaks to use, etc. I feel that CES would be delivering an OUTSTANDING offer if they tweaked that aspect to improve it. Then I'd give them 5.5!Posted on Google![]()

Only 5 star for John and his team. They installed a Tesla battery for my home. Whereas another installer was firstly charging more and secondly stated a design limitation, John was able to resolve the design issue at value price. The handover was seamless and the team was flexible to discuss installation location options. Well done and they lived up to the top tier NSW installers ranking of Solar quotes.Posted on Google![]()

I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, John and his team were incredibly professional, efficient, and friendly. Their attention to detail and clear communication made the process seamless. Not only did they ensure the installation was flawless, but they also took the time to explain everything about how the system works, which I greatly appreciated. It's rare to find a team that goes above and beyond like they did.Posted on Google![]()

I was pleased with how the installation of the solar panels and batteries were performed. The team were professional and didn’t take short cuts. John listened to my needs and concerns and ensured the correct balance and system was installed. I was happy with the results and with a 15kW Solar and 20kW battery we can already see the results in our online bill reduce dramatically.Posted on Google![]()

Outstanding service from Clean Earth Solar. 1000% recommended. John and team very professional
Most Central Coast homes have the roof space rooftop solar needs. In the Central Coast Council area, 76.4% of dwellings are separate houses, compared with 53.4% across Greater Sydney (2021 Census). A freestanding roof gives you more room for panels and no strata approval to chase.
Homes close to the surf, Brisbane Water or Tuggerah Lake sit in higher corrosivity categories under AS 4312, so we check the panel’s salt mist rating (IEC 61701) and the racking manufacturer’s coastal conditions before the design is final. On metal roofs, we use fixings compatible with the roof sheeting so dissimilar metals do not corrode each other. Exposed ridgelines and headlands catch strong onshore winds, and we space the racking and fixings to the site’s wind loading under AS/NZS 1170.2.
Roofs here range from terracotta and concrete tile to Colorbond and other metal sheeting. Steep and hillside blocks often mean splitting the array across two roof faces, where microinverters stop one shaded panel from cutting the output of the rest.
We size solar power for Central Coast homes from your half-hourly interval data and past bills, so a house that sits empty all day while you commute to Sydney or Newcastle gets a different system from one with someone home. If storms and outages worry you, a home battery with backup keeps essential circuits running when the grid drops.
Holiday homes are common here: 9.5% of dwellings in the Central Coast Council area were unoccupied on Census night, against 7.9% in Greater Sydney. A weekender exports most of its daytime output, so we usually size it modestly and set up monitoring you can check from the app while you are away.
The Central Coast is on Ausgrid’s network, and every new or upgraded system needs Ausgrid connection approval before it is switched on. We lodge the application and handle the paperwork for you.
Solar installation across the Central Coast, from Woy Woy to Budgewoi.
Our electricians install solar across the Central Coast Council area, including Gosford, Erina, Terrigal, Avoca Beach, Kincumber, Woy Woy, Umina Beach, Kariong, Narara, Wyoming, Ourimbah, Tuggerah, Bateau Bay, The Entrance, Wyong, Lake Haven, Toukley, Budgewoi, Hamlyn Terrace and Warnervale, plus acreage around Somersby, Kulnura and Mangrove Mountain.
South of the Hawkesbury River, the same team installs solar in Hornsby and solar panels across Sydney.
We quote every system in writing after assessing your roof, switchboard and past bills, and the price depends on what that assessment finds:
Our guide to solar panel installation cost explains each of these in more depth, and it pays to know how to compare solar quotes before you sign anything.
Want to talk through your bills first?
Join the growing number of homes running on their own solar power. Clean Earth Solar designs your solar installation Central Coast around your roof, your usage and your distance from the coast. The electricians who assess your home are the ones who install it. Book a solar assessment and get a written quote.
Do it once, do it right!
Yes. The Central Coast is part of our regular service area, and the same in-house electricians who install our Hawkesbury and Sydney systems do the work.
Yes, in most cases. Clean Earth Solar checks the panel's salt mist rating and the racking manufacturer's coastal conditions against your address, then uses fixings compatible with your roof.
Most home systems are installed in a single day once Ausgrid approval is in place. Larger systems, or jobs with a battery or switchboard upgrade, can take longer.
A battery is optional. Panels alone cut what you buy from the grid during the day, while a battery stores the surplus for the evening and can keep essential circuits on in a blackout.
The price depends on system size, equipment, roof type, coastal mounting and any electrical work needed. We give you a fixed written quote after assessing your roof, switchboard and bills.
