CES just 'upgraded' my solar to 10kwh, added a 10kwh battery, AND a smart EV charger. My main aim was to charge my EV off the roof, rather than cut my power bill..... which will happen anyway. CES 'got that' (others did NOT) and came in with an appropriate and competitive quote, and were able to start quite quickly. The large install was done efficiently and professionally in just one day, and so far it's been working like a charm. Overall I'd give CES 4.5 stars. 4.5 because there is ONE small but important thing they could maybe focus on more. CES's focus was in getting the install done in one day - a BIG task! As a result the final setup of the app's the end-user will use to drive the system ended up being a bit rushed. The client gets a LOT of value from understanding HOW the apps work, how to tailor them, what tweaks to use, etc. I feel that CES would be delivering an OUTSTANDING offer if they tweaked that aspect to improve it. Then I'd give them 5.5!Posted on Google![]()

Only 5 star for John and his team. They installed a Tesla battery for my home. Whereas another installer was firstly charging more and secondly stated a design limitation, John was able to resolve the design issue at value price. The handover was seamless and the team was flexible to discuss installation location options. Well done and they lived up to the top tier NSW installers ranking of Solar quotes.Posted on Google![]()

I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, John and his team were incredibly professional, efficient, and friendly. Their attention to detail and clear communication made the process seamless. Not only did they ensure the installation was flawless, but they also took the time to explain everything about how the system works, which I greatly appreciated. It's rare to find a team that goes above and beyond like they did.Posted on Google![]()

I was pleased with how the installation of the solar panels and batteries were performed. The team were professional and didn’t take short cuts. John listened to my needs and concerns and ensured the correct balance and system was installed. I was happy with the results and with a 15kW Solar and 20kW battery we can already see the results in our online bill reduce dramatically.Posted on Google![]()

Outstanding service from Clean Earth Solar. 1000% recommended. John and team very professional
A car charged in the middle of the day on rooftop solar is running on power you have already paid for. Getting there usually means a smart charger that can follow live production, and enough generation to cover the household load at the same time. Where the car is charged overnight instead, a solar battery is what makes daytime generation available after dark. We size the solar system and the charger together when both are going in, and we can add real-time energy monitoring so you can see what the car actually draws.
Two houses on the same street can quote very differently for EV charger installation in Hawkesbury. The charger itself is rarely the deciding factor. What moves the price is the electrical work around it.
We confirm all of it during the site assessment and put the full scope in a written quote before anything is booked in.

An EV charger is a hard-wired appliance on a dedicated circuit, so it is licensed electrical work. In NSW that means a licensed electrician, a certificate of compliance for electrical work once the circuit is energised, and installation to AS/NZS 3000 wiring rules and the AS/NZS 3012 requirements that apply to EV supply equipment. A charger installed by anyone else can void the unit’s warranty and complicate an insurance claim.
Most single phase home installs are a one day job once the charger is on site. Anything needing a board upgrade or a network application takes longer, and we tell you which one you are in before you commit. Not sure whether your home needs three phase at all? Our guide to single phase vs three phase EV charging explains when it is worth it.

Workplaces, retail sites, strata buildings and fleet depots have a different problem to a home: several cars, one supply. We install multi-bay charging with load sharing so the site draws within its limit, and we can stage the work as demand grows. For businesses already looking at commercial solar, charging and generation are best designed together, because daytime charging is where a commercial system pays back hardest.

Clean Earth Solar installs EV chargers across Windsor, Richmond, Pitt Town and the wider Hawkesbury, and out through Penrith, Blacktown, the Hills District, the Blue Mountains and greater Sydney. Rural blocks in the Hawkesbury often have the switchboard a long way from where the car parks, which is worth flagging when you enquire. The full list of areas is on areas we serve.
Charging at home takes the public charging network out of your week and lets you fill up on your own power. Clean Earth Solar assesses the supply, installs the charger to standard and backs the work with a lifetime workmanship warranty. Tell us what you drive and where you park, and we will quote the job properly.

Yes. A charger can go in a garage, a carport, on an external wall or on a post near the driveway. The position is chosen around where the car parks, where the cable will reach the charge port, and how far the run is from the switchboard.
Only if the existing board has no spare capacity or no room for the dedicated circuit the charger needs. We check the board during the site assessment and tell you either way before quoting, so an upgrade is never a surprise on install day.
It depends on the charger, the cable run and whether any switchboard work is needed, so we do not publish a figure. Book a site assessment and you get a written quote covering the charger, the circuit, any board work and the certificate of compliance.
Almost every full electric car sold in Australia charges on a Level 2 unit, and that is the usual recommendation for a daily driver. Plug-in hybrids with small batteries often charge fine on a standard outlet. Tell us the make and model and we will match the charger to it.
Yes, with a smart charger that can follow live solar production and enough generation to cover the house at the same time. If you mostly charge overnight, a battery is what makes your daytime solar available when the car is home.
Most single phase home installs are completed in a day once the charger is on site. Three phase installs, long cable runs and switchboard upgrades take longer, and we confirm the timeframe in the quote.
